If article marketing is in your arsenal of weapons for getting traffic to your website then content creation is vital to you. You want to be able to provide your visitors with quality content and give them a reason to become a subscriber or to purchase a product through you.

This all sounds great but what if the creative juices just are not flowing quick enough for you. What if you experienced a massive mental block while thinking of ideas for your articles. I am sure this has happened to us all at some stage. Here are some tips to overcome all of this.

Where Can I Get Ideas From?

Really, the internet is simply a massive database of information so you obviously want to search the net to get ideas and the first place I go is Yahoo Answers. These are real people asking questions on real problems so scanning this site can give you clues about which topics are popular at the time.

Of course you want the ideas to pertain to your niche so when you are there, use the search function and input your niche. This will give you all the questions about your niche. Read the questions to gauge what it is you can write about. You could come up with a FAQ style of article from doing this.

Another method I use is to type into Google the keyword I want to write about followed by the word “forum”. This will list all forums where discussions take place about my particular niche. This can be a goldmine of information for writing your next article.

Writing Articles From Your Competitors Content

If I want to rank a page for a certin keyword I will sometimes go to the sites of my competitiors to read their content. I will quickly scan what they have written, judge whether it is of value and re-purpose what they have said.

Because we all have different writing styles your article will read completely different to the original. If you have any doubts about doing this bear in mind that most major news sites do this.

Ideas From Previously Written Articles

I am sure it has happened to you before as well as me. I am talking about being told something or reading something and not giving it a second thought. Then later you read the same thing only slightly worded differently and it gels with you.

It is for this reason that I will sometimes re-write an article I have previously written but in a different way. This method caters for all types and makes sure that everyone has a chance to grasp what it is you want to say.

Best Backlinks For My Site

So now that you’ve got your site set up, you’ve got some content on there and you’re
ready to rock and roll, you’re still missing something. Traffic. People coming to your site.
If you don’t get people coming to your site, you don’t make money, right? Right. So this
is very, very important. One of the best ways to get traffic, crush your competition, and
clean up shop is through SEO. Search Engine Optimization. And this is where you sit on
top of the search engines. If people search Google for African artichoke, and they
saw your website sitting right on the top, you’ll get some people coming to it, right?
Heck yes you would.

Here’s the cool thing. The fact that you’re using a wordpress site is going to help you a
lot. You’re going to be able to rank a lot easier than everyone else because these sites
are super SEO’d out. And right now, Google is loving them. They’ve got a high page
rank, and not many people know about it yet. So right now you’ve got a huge
opportunity to crush it. And if you don’t believe me, try it. Put it to the test and see for
yourself. Go put your website up. You could even keep the wordpress domain name, so
it would be yoursite.worpress.com, because that’ll rank really well, really easily,
because Webstarts has a high page rank. So when you’ve got a site like that, you’re
going to have a high page rank, and you’re gonna go up to the top of the search
engines, and it’s money in the bank.

Wait til you see how easy it’s gonna be to rank. Or even if you use your custom domain
name, you know, yoursite.com, the Worpress sites are SEO’d out, so that’s gonna be
easy to rank, too. Really, at this point, you already got the unfair advantage, but let me
guess, you want more. You want it all. You don’t want just a little bit of traffic, you want
lots of traffic. You want lots of money. You want lots of sales. Hey, I don’t blame you,
because that’s exactly how I think.

So why don’t I just tell you the real secret on how to rank on top of Google for just about
anything? Well, here’s the thing. Ranking on top of Google, it really comes down to two
things: onsite optimization and offsite optimization. What exactly is this onsite
optimization that I speak of? Onsite optimization is tweaking your site, it’s SEO’ing it out,
taking care of all the stuff like keywords, title tags, description, etc. You know, setting
that stuff up properly, that’s what onsite optimization is about. The cool thing is, if you
follow through these videos and you see that video I did on the SEO Wizard, then hey,
you already got that part taken care of. You’re set. You’re ready to go, because
Worpress making onsite optimization a breeze, and it’s super easy to do, so you’ve
already taken care of that step, but don’t get too excited just yet. That’s just half of the
puzzle. There’s still another vital piece that’s missing. Offsite optimization.

What the heck is offsite optimization? You might be wondering. Well, it means
backlinking. Backlinks are the missing ingredient. Backlinks are what’s really gonna help
you rank on the front page of Google for just about anything. Backlinks are what’s
gonna secure your spot and help you make lots of affiliate commissions and get paid
like a boss. It’s all about backlinks. If you’re not too familiar with backlinking or have no
idea what that means, no worries, I got you covered because backlinks are actually
really simple to explain.

Backlinks is simply to get other websites to have your site posted on their site. That’s it.
That’s what backlink is. Getting other websites to point to your site. So if they’ve got a
link up there pointing to your site, you’ve now got a backlink. Pretty simple, huh? So, if
you’re able to get good sites to post your link up on their page, then you will climb the
charts of Google, and you shall rule with an iron fist. But here’s the thing. Let me just set
the record straight now because there’s so much misinformation out there. With
backlinks it is not about quantity. Let me say this again. Backlinks, it’s not about
quantity, it’s about quality. Google does not care if you have thousands of junk sites
pointing back to yours. They don’t care about it. So having thousands of low quality junk
websites pointing to your site isn’t going to do much of anything for you, it’s not, really.

What’s going to do a lot for you is getting high quality, high trusted, high patron sites
pointing back to yours. So yes, that means those automated programs that you’ve
heard about that do thousands of junk backlinks for you at the push of a button, those
aren’t going to do anything for you. It’s probably just going to get you slapped or get you
put in the Google sandbox, which is like getting put in time out. Because if Google sees
a bunch of junk websites pointing back to yours, you know what they’re going to see
you as? They’re going to see you as junk. It would be like if you were on trial, and the
only people that you could get to speak at your defense were other criminals, scam
artists, or drug dealers, you’re probably not going to do too well. It’s going to make you
look really bad. So if you want to rank high on Google, then you need high quality
backlinks from high quality sites that Google actually trusts. That’s it, if you get those,
you’re set.

For example, if you got something like MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, or anyone of those
sites to do an article about your site, well hey, now you’ve got a high quality backlink,
and guaranteed, you’re going to climb on the Google Charts. But let me guess, you
don’t work for CNN, and you probably don’t know any journalist on there who’s willing to
do a front page article for your website. Me either. So that’s why we gotta look
elsewhere.

The cool thing is that there’s tons of other high quality, high page rank sites out there,
and if you can get backlinks from any of those sites, you will do awesome. So where do
you find these high page rank sites? Where do you get these high page rank backlinks?
Well, you could search the internet; you could probably find some cool backlinking
services out there. There’s a few good ones out there, but why don’t I just tell you what
we use. Why don’t I just tell you the best? It’s called One Way Links, which you can
check out by visiting www.onewaylinks.com.

So how will the Easyazon plug in help you? In a number of ways actually.

Youe select your product, decide if your affiliate link will be text, image or in a block with the product info in it and then simply insert the code into your blog post. All of this is done from your wordpress back office. How easy is that?

There is also the geographical locator in the plugin which determines which country the visitor is from and displays links to that particular country. I reckon that makes it super easy to earn Amazon commissions from anywhere in the world.
