Where Can I Get Ideas From?

Really, the internet is simply a massive database of information so you obviously want to search the net to get ideas and the first place I go is Yahoo Answers. These are real people asking questions on real problems so scanning this site can give you clues about which topics are popular at the time.

Of course you want the ideas to pertain to your niche so when you are there, use the search function and input your niche. This will give you all the questions about your niche. Read the questions to gauge what it is you can write about. You could come up with a FAQ style of article from doing this.

Another method I use is to type into Google the keyword I want to write about followed by the word “forum”. This will list all forums where discussions take place about my particular niche. This can be a goldmine of information for writing your next article.

Writing Articles From Your Competitors Content

If I want to rank a page for a certin keyword I will sometimes go to the sites of my competitiors to read their content. I will quickly scan what they have written, judge whether it is of value and re-purpose what they have said.

Because we all have different writing styles your article will read completely different to the original. If you have any doubts about doing this bear in mind that most major news sites do this.

I am sure it has happened to you before as well as me. I am talking about being told something or reading something and not giving it a second thought. Then later you read the same thing only slightly worded differently and it gels with you.

heard about that do thousands of junk backlinks for you at the push of a button, those
aren’t going to do anything for you. It’s probably just going to get you slapped or get you
put in the Google sandbox, which is like getting put in time out. Because if Google sees
a bunch of junk websites pointing back to yours, you know what they’re going to see
you as? They’re going to see you as junk. It would be like if you were on trial, and the
only people that you could get to speak at your defense were other criminals, scam
artists, or drug dealers, you’re probably not going to do too well. It’s going to make you
look really bad. So if you want to rank high on Google, then you need high quality
backlinks from high quality sites that Google actually trusts. That’s it, if you get those,
you’re set.

For example, if you got something like MSNBC, CNN, Fox News, or anyone of those
sites to do an article about your site, well hey, now you’ve got a high quality backlink,
and guaranteed, you’re going to climb on the Google Charts. But let me guess, you
don’t work for CNN, and you probably don’t know any journalist on there who’s willing to
do a front page article for your website. Me either. So that’s why we gotta look
elsewhere.

The cool thing is that there’s tons of other high quality, high page rank sites out there,
and if you can get backlinks from any of those sites, you will do awesome. So where do
you find these high page rank sites? Where do you get these high page rank backlinks?
Well, you could search the internet; you could probably find some cool backlinking

Which brings me to backlinking. Hands up who hates backlinking? I do, I despise it but I do it because I understand the importance of it and I also know that my website is dead and buried without them. They are what oxygen is to the body.Now I would guess that the majority of you are already getting backlinks to your money sites. We need that oxygen. We need Google to see how many other websites love us enough to give us a vote of confidence in our site by backlinking to us. I’ll be honest here and I am certain this fits most of you guys as well and that is that the majority of your backlinks were the work of your good self.

Only a small amount of mine were actually given to me by visitors to my sites and after consideration, decided to put a backlink on their site to mine. Not that it matters a whole lot whether or not you got them either way. A backlink is and always will be a backlink.

What Type Of Backlinks Do I Need?
The method you use to get the backlinks is also of little or no consequence either, barring blackhat methods of course, as long as we get a lot of individual webmasters voting for our site, we should occupy the top 3 of the search engines for not only your chosen keyword but for many long tail keywords relating to it as well.

Because of Google’s secrecy, we do not know how many backlinks a site has to an accurate number. We can only get a ballpark figure. But when determining how many we need to get to number one we need this number to be as accurate as possible.

Or you could do what I do and not worry about this figure just simply backlink the crap out of it until you reach number one then double that amount to cement it there. Actually, I never stop backlinking my sites. We know that through natural attrition we lose some of the links so these need replacing but we also have to remind Google that we are still popular with other websites.

Okay then. We have our backlinks, now what? Well through my experiences what I have found is that even though we have 800 backlinks out there, we are really not sure how many of them have actually been indexed by Goggle. If big G cannot find them, we do not get credited with that backlink.

I am not sure about you but I have not mastered how to only get backlinks from real high PR websites. All my backlinks range from PR0 to PR9 and everywhere in between and it just could be that the Googlemeister does not visit many of the lower PR sites to locate my link which brings me to the point of what you are reading right now.

Should I Backlink My Backlinks?

Before I get into why you definately should backlink your backlinks let me explain how I came across this and what it has done for my websites.I am a member of 1Way Links by Jonathan Leger. 1way links allows you to submit articles to the system with each article containing up to three links to sites of your choice. So, with 3 links per article and your monthly allowance of 250 submissions that is 750 links to your site each month.

I did some reserach a while back and discoverd that an article I sent to 150 websites did not correlate with the amount of backlnks I actually had so I started digging around and came up with 2 very simple reasons why this happened.

1. Some of the members of 1way links had cancelled the service meaning I lost those backlinks. The beauty of 1way links is that periodically the team scour the websites in the network and if they find a site has dissappeard, they allocate more links for you so that you get your alloted backlinks. So given time this was not a major issue.

2. Googlehead simply was not crawling some of the sites to give credence to the backlink. 1way links gets new members regularly and with new sites coming into the network it could take some time for them to firstly find them and then idex them.

As I said number one does not concern me as I know that will work itself out over time and I basically have no control over it but I can do something about reason number 2. I decided it was up to me to give the Googster a gentle nudge and remind him of these sites that need visiting, crawling and indexing.

How Do You Backlink Your Backlinks Effectively?

This part is for the uninitiated so if you are experinced, please bear with me. What happpens is the G visits site A to determine it’s content etc and finds a link going out to site B. After it has finished it’s business with site A it shoots over to site B to see what all the fuss is about.This leads to site B getting crawled, indexed and listed in the serach engine and one backlink being credited with it.

Now for Ghead to find all your links would be time consuming but what if we put all the URL’s in one place so that when His Majesy visits that one place, it has access to every other website on the internet that links to you, thus boosting your number of credited backlinks.

Here Is How To Do It

I wont go into specifics about why here but Google loves RSS feeds.

Firstly, get a list of URL’s that link back to you. You should have this as part of your backlinking. Or go to https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com and input your URL. It will return a list of sites that link to you.

Next what we want to do is make a RSS feed that contains all of the URL’s that link back to us. This is easy and free to do. Go to http://www.hostmyrss.com and open a free account. You then create an RSS feed by copy/paste your list of URL’s and clicking the button.

This will give you a RSS URL something like http://hostmyrss.com/feed/YOURKEYWORD

Make sure you name it as your main keyword and also keep in mind that you can only add 100 url’s. If you have more, simply create another rss

Next, go to http://www.feedage.com Feedage is the biggest RSS directory at the minute and Google is all over it like fly’s on shit. It is free to open an account there and once you have done this you simply your feed to feedage. Be sure to name this after your main keyword to.

You will end up with the URL to your feed as something like http://www.feedage.com/feeds/18351266/sixpackabs (oops… There’s a backlink )

Because of the love that BigG has with feedage, (search “RSS feed Directory” into Google), they will crawl your rss feed for sure. Also, other webmatsers looking for content for their sites will use your feed to populate their website giving you more backlinks.

Where To From Here
All you do now is when you publish an article that allows 2 or more links in them, make one link to your money site and the other link to your feedage url which will force Googlypop to visit it, find all your links, and index them, hopefully.

Backlink Software
I will admit that I am shit scared of doing anything blackhat that could jeooardise my money sites. That is why you won’t find me using any backlink software to ramp it up. Sure there are hundreds of people that use it to post spam comments on blogs etc and they have great results in getting hundreds of free backlinks but I do not need backlinks that bad that I would put my money sites in the shit with the Boss.

Buy Backlinks
Nope. Aint gunna happen I’m afraid. Once again, I know this tactic works as I have seen numerous people say how great it is but when a guy says he bought 4 high PR backlinks for $200, I cringe. Jon Leger has a site dedicated to finding high pagerank .edu and .gov blogs that welcome blog commenting as long as relevant and important responses are left. I use this method regularly along with this method to get free backlinks every day.

Backlink Checker
Using Yahoo backlinks checker is about the closest we will get to finding out how many backlinks we have. It is just aout the most accurate backlink checker at the minute so use this resource to gauge your success with backlinking. Sure there are other tools available but keep it simple and keep it cheap I say. Backlinks optimization is an ongoing task and baclinking your backlinks should be a major part of your strategy.

I have known of Dan Brock for quite a while now over at Warrior Forum. He has always struck me as a knowledgeable young man who has a vision and definate goal. I guess after years of reading on the forums you can tell the deadbeat bullshit artist from the real deal.

Since concentrating on making money with Amazon as an affiliate since May of this year my monthly earnings have risen each month due to the fact that I have applied the strategies that Daniel Brock and others freely share over there. And if I continue in the same vain I am sure my earnings will keep rising to more than the $400+ per month I get now. Not Earth shattering I know, but combined with my other streams it adds up to a modest amount.

So, do I want to be a deadbeat super affiliate for Amazon? Maybe not a deadbeat but the super affiliate part sits comfortably with me and from what Dan Brock teaches in his course, so can you.
